Thanks, KIWANIS CLUB OF THE DELTA, and a special thanks to you Kay Power for all your hard work organizing this event for the benefit of so many. This is really quite an event. Peggy and I started our restaurant tour at LITTLE MANUEL'S where we sampled guacamole, chile verde, beef taquitos and dessert samples including cheese cake. From there it was off to HUMPHREY'S where se sampled crab cakes, seafood newberg, salmon, chicken cordon blue and a dessert crepe with strawberries and a chocolate drizzle. ALLSTAR SPORTS BAR & GRILL was next with smoked barbecue pork ribs, hot links, bbq chicken, homemade chile and potato salad, whew I'm stuffed again and we aren't even half way! SKIPOLINI'S PIZZA was next where they offered their Palermo pizza, pesto primavera, bbq chicken and a ceasar salad. CARPACCIO RISTORANTE offered several pastas and a ravioli as well as a chicken picata and a spinach salad. We went to STARBUCKS COFFEE next to "coffee-up" from all the "carbs" and were rewarded with some dessert cakes with our coffee, yum. CELIAS MEXICAN RESTAURANT had a taco bar, burritos, quesadilla, chips and salsa. We're rounding third and heading for BASES LOADED RESTAURANT.
