My brother, Greg, thought that 60 was worth celebrating and wanted to host a birthday party for me at his house. Greg and Pam do great parties but knowing how much work this can be I suggested we move it to Lone Tree Golf & Event Center, in Antioch. Executive Chef Jonothan Hork and Event Planner Kim Navarro asked what sort of food, how many guests, what my budget was and they did the rest. With the Niners playing the Giants at the same time as the party we went with the football party buffet. Chicken wings, potato skins, make your own hamburger & hot dog bar, chili, and salads. My ex, Debra, is the resident family cake maker and she made us a cake. Two of my brothers Neil and Greg, my sons Shawn and Bryan, their families and my 4 1/2 grandkids all showed up. The Niners beat the Giants 27-20 to go to 9-1. It was a good day. The food was tasty, the service excellent (thank you Shane).
