It was HUMPHREY'S ON THE DELTA for Peggy's birthday brunch (we celebrated 22 years together last month). I enjoy every minute with her and a two hour brunch is what I call extra special, quality time. Peggy, loves this place, the view is spectacular and the brunch is rich in seafood. A new item for me on this visit was the cioppino. In addition to the crab, clams, mussels, white fish was scallops. They were the bigger sea scallops which I prefer and the soup/sauce was very well seasoned. We got an extra treat on this visit with the frigate (sp?) NINA moored right outside our window. For an added bonus we got some freighter from Singapore "sailing" by about the time I was dipping strawberry's into the new chocolate fountain. I'm testing a new camera this weekend and I apologize to Eva, the owner of Humphrey's, for not taking better pictures of this spectacular brunch. I know we'll be back soon and I'll be more familiar with the camera and take better pictures. For more information visit Humphrey's on the Delta.
