Welcome to our Brentwood CA Farmers Market July 2004 PHOTO GALLERY. I felt healthier just being around so many fruits, vegetables, herbs, cheeses and wines. This is the 4th week of this event that will run through September. The city blocks off the streets in front of the City Park for this event. The crowds aren't too large yet so you can talk to the growers and get waited on quickly. Prices seemed cheap to me and the produce is best I've ever seen. Everything has that "eat me now look" to it and most of the growers were giving out plenty of free samples. We bought tomatoes, dried apricots, bell peppers, corn, plums, beans, cucumbers, salad greens, garlic and some fruit. The key here is to buy what you can use this week and stop by again next Thursday and get the next weeks goodies. I saw someone packing around the biggest black berries I have ever seen, I must have missed that stand, because I would have bought them for sure. Have a comment on the market?
