OKTOBERFEST in downtown Brentwood featured a sensational car show, some arts and crafts, root beer garden and bratwurst cooked in beer. The weather was perfect and the big crowd loved it. I got there a little early and visited the WEBER/FRIDLEY ART GALLERY. The art gallery is located on the second floor in the Valverde Plaza Building at 613 First St., just east of the Delta Cinema Theater. The art show actually begins on the first floor with art from local artists displayed throughout the building. Stop by if you like art you'll be glad you did. This car shows' signature feature was HORSEPOWER including an 809hp 56 Chevy. I KNOW if I was driving this car regularly I'd be spending all my time in court and all my money paying off speeding tickets HA! Can they actually take away your license for too many speeding tickets? I think the merchants will continue what they started next year and use the winter months for planning. We'll keep you posted!
