The FARMERS MARKET in Old Town Pittsburg is a great way to start a Saturday morning. I got there about 9AM and walked in and around several old town blocks. I scouted out produce bargains and saw produce I'd never seen before amongst the peaches, peppers and herbs. I talked to a honey maker about the process and the business. I met some artists and art students. I visited a "park-like" court with a statue and historical mural. Some kids were out making sure everyone was registered to vote, it's nice to see. It was a nice Saturday morning.
