More Than I Expected
For most of this season, I was disgusted with the 49ers.
They played good enough to "limp into the playoffs." Surprise! I wasn't expecting much. The fact they won two playoff games surprised me. The fact that the Niners extended the football season three weeks was sweet. I actually started thinking 49ers vs Bengals SUPER BOWL. I'm sure many Cincinnati fans were split. Half said "Oh no not those guys again" and the other half said finally "Payback is sweet."
On Jimmy Garoppolo I have this to say. He handled a very difficult situation gracefully. I don't know anyone that could have handled the situation better. The last thing I have to say on this subject is "what has Shanahan won?" He makes all the play calls, doesn't he? His modus operandi seems to be start fast, get a lead, and then try to hang on. How's that working for you, Kyle?
For money reasons, the 49ers are probably trading Garoppolo. Me? I wouldn't mind it if Jimmy sticks around and gives lessons to Trey for another year. I wonder what Jimmy's play calls would be at the end of games?
