Last Week
Mexican Prawns in Thai Red Curry
A friend and I ended up at the bar, at Bridges Restaurant, in Danville last week. After happy hour cocktails and snacks, we ordered dinner. I chose the Stir-Fried Prawns. Six large prawns, cooked in a red curry sauce, cremini mushrooms, red bell pepper, mint, toasted peanuts and served on a crispy noodle cake. The dish was flavorful, I enjoyed the mild curry flavors that didn't overpower the prawns, mushroom, bell pepper and noodle cake. I'm happy to say I took what was left home and enjoyed it the next day. I would definitely order this again $29.
While I was there I took a photo of the table (the round one) that Pierce Brosnan, Sally Field, and Robin Williams had dinner on in the movie Miss Doubtfire.
