This week has been sort of a breath of fresh air. We've had Giants and A's baseball. Now it's Giants and Dodgers LIVE ON TV. I can get past the styrofoam people, masked players, and prerecorded fans noise. It's live sports, with live players, it's made me feel different this week. I'm not expecting much from the Giants but we get to see kids trying to do their best to make it big, in a game I love, for 60 games. It feels normal to watch baseball during the summer and I like it.

Breakfast With The Food Network
Most mornings I watch a FOOD NETWORK cooking show while I eat breakfast. Looking at gourmet food on TV while I eat oatmeal with real raisins seems to improve and enhance the flavor.
I particularly enjoyed this episode of THE KITCHEN, titled HIGH ROLLER STEAKHOUSE, Season 24, Episode 5. I appreciated the added production value of a real Las Vegas roulette wheel on the set. The cast, each made something over-the-top. Mauro made black powder cowboy rib eyes with blue cheese butter and rosemary smoke; Lee went all-in with crab and caviar twice baked potatoes; Zakarian an impressive tableside caesar salad; Guarnaschelli makes a Baked Alaska for dessert.
