I think the answer is yes. A meeting was held last Saturday. Rose Mary Tumbaga, Director of
Arts, Literacy & Education for the Pittsburg Arts & Community Foundation would like Pittsburg
to be the host city. The city has two new theaters opening in 2011 and thinks an East County
Film Festival is a great way to showcase the theaters renovation reopenings.
