Brannan Island Bridge

I first went over this bridge in June 1967 when my family moved us to Antioch, CA., from Lakehurst N.J. We camped out there (Brannan Island is a state park in Rio Vista) for about a month while they finished building our home. I thought it was pretty cool place to live, for a month in the summer, as a 16 year kid. See this photo in 1500 HD

"Historic Photo" of the Week

Chicago Rush Hour 1909

I love looking at old photos like this. It helps me to understand what life was like just 40 years before I was born. Personally I'm happy with the era I'm living in. I like the simpleness of the old stuff right up until game time then I want my, HD TV, air conditioning and really cold beer. I'm calling this time the "Golden Age."
